Cantine Fina
View winesIn Marsala, on Sicily’s western edge, Cantine Fina is a family story with a clear beginning: 2005, when Bruno Fina (oenologist) and Mariella turned an idea into a working winery, soon joined by their children—Marco, Sergio, and Federica—who are now part of the day-to-day life of the cellar.
They call this world #Orizzonte_Fina: a way of thinking and acting that keeps the horizon open—wine as both craft and lived place.
Location
The winery’s home is Marsala (Trapani), and their vineyard work is framed as a portrait of western Sicily—a region where native and international varieties coexist, shaped by long-term zonation studies led by Bruno Fina.
For visits, the setting is part of the identity: tastings that end with a dramatic sunset from a terrace overlooking the Egadi.
Winemaking & Philosophy
Fina’s wines are built with a technical clarity that still reads as Mediterranean: hand-harvested timing, altitude choices, and vinification decisions that aim to preserve identity rather than smooth it away.
Across the range, they also explicitly label multiple wines as organic (for example, Grillo Sicilia DOC, Chardonnay, Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOC, and Syrah appear as “BIOLOGICO”). And when they lean into tradition, they do it with precision—like their Metodo Classico Pas Dosé, fermented in steel and then left 36 months on the lees in bottle before release.
