Reverdito Barolo
Reverdito Barolo is a classic Barolo DOCG from Piedmont in northern Italy, produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Langhe hills around La Morra. It reflects a traditional Barolo style — structured, aromatic, and age-worthy — with bright acidity, firm tannins, and layered complexity shaped by calcareous marl soils and hillside vineyards
Winemaking process
The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with controlled temperature to preserve fruit expression and ensure gentle tannin extraction. The wine is aged in large oak barrels for about two years before further refinement, contributing structure and aromatic complexity
Tasting notes
It typically shows an elegant garnet color with orange reflections. The bouquet often reveals underbrush, aromatic herbs, spice, and subtle vanilla from oak. On the palate, it is full and enveloping with balanced structure, elegant tannins, mineral notes, and a long, persistent finish
Food pairings
Reverdito Barolo pairs best with rich and savory dishes such as braised meats, roasted red meats, game, truffle dishes, and aged cheeses. Its firm tannins and acidity help balance rich proteins and complex flavors (classic Barolo pairing style)
