Quiddity
View winesQuiddity is a small, family-run winery and tasting room in Woodinville’s Warehouse District, built around Rhône varieties and blends. The lineup leans into Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and their classic GSM expressions—bottlings shaped less by heavy makeup and more by clean fruit, spice, and texture.
A lot of the storytelling lives inside the cuvées themselves. Names pull from Latin phrases and personal milestones, turning each release into a little chapter—wines meant to be opened with food, with people, and with some intention behind the moment.
Location
The tasting room sits in Woodinville, Washington (Seattle-area), with the winery’s base listed at:
19510 144th Ave NE, Suite C1, Woodinville, WA 98072
Vineyards and place
While the tasting room is in Woodinville, the fruit narrative points south and east into Washington vineyards—especially the Rattlesnake Hills AVA, repeatedly referenced through Elephant Mountain and Sugarloaf, with additional sourcing that reaches into the broader Columbia Valley (including Willow Run).
On the white side, Quiddity also pulls from Washington sites like Royal Slope for Viognier, keeping the profile bright and clean with stainless-steel handling.
Winemaking & Philosophy
The winemaking voice here is confident but unforced: bold reds built for food, structured Syrah that stays “big” without getting unruly, and blends where spice, herb, and fruit sit in balance. The sourcing and cépage detail is unusually transparent—GSM percentages, vineyard names, AVA references—so the wines read like snapshots of specific sites rather than generic “house reds.”
Even the rosé shows that same intent: whole-cluster, direct-press Mourvèdre with stainless-steel vinification, aiming for precision and lift rather than sweetness.
