Courtois

Born from hillside parcels discovered in the 1960s, Courtois grew from a small, quiet vineyard into a 30-hectare domaine shaped by patience and precision. In 2003, the Jaume family stepped in—keeping the Courtois name—to carry the legacy of those old vines forward into a new era.

Location

High above Vinsobres, the vineyard sits in “Les Collines,” where rugged folds of land and varied soils create a mosaic of growing conditions. Facing the Prealps, with many plots turned to the southeast, altitude and light do the slow work of building finesse into every harvest.

Winemaking & Philosophy

Courtois aims for a balance of inherited know-how and modern precision—letting Grenache and Syrah speak with depth, fresh fruit, and spice. Each cuvée is framed as a direct expression of Vinsobres: not manufactured, but revealed—bottle by bottle—through careful choices and long attention to place.
